Movement! Joy! Music! So much fun to do these paintings in versatile oil pastel! Sennelier oil pastel has this lipstick-like tactile quality that just sort of melts on gritty surfaces. It also can be used in an impasto manner. It never totally dries so I frame under plexiglass.
